Privacy Policy

The Philosophy Coach is run by Noosphere Consultancy (OPC) Private Limited (“we”, “us”), and sessions are given by Akshat Kapur. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@thephilosophycoach.com.

When you book the intro call: your name, email address and anything you add to the booking, so we can arrange the call.

When you use the message box: your name, email address, your message, and the IP address of the device you sent it from, so we can reply.

The intake form (sent to you after the intro call): the answers you choose to give about yourself and what’s going on, so sessions can start from where you are.

During and between sessions: what you tell us in sessions and on WhatsApp, and the summaries we send you.

Session notes, only with your permission: if you agree, Google Meet’s note-taker (Gemini) automatically makes notes and a transcript of the session. We ask for your consent first, and you can say no.

When you pay: your name, contact details and confirmation of payment from Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.

Some of what you share may be sensitive, such as information about your health, your relationships or your sexuality. We use it only to work with you, keep it confidential, and never sell it or use it for marketing.

What you share is used only for our work together. We don’t use it anywhere else, including for academic research or teaching, without your permission.

Akshat may discuss anonymised aspects of his work with his supervising psychologist or doctor. Nothing that identifies you is shared.

We use a few outside services, each of which handles your information under its own privacy policy:

• Google (Calendar for booking, Meet for video calls, Gemini for session notes when you agree, Forms for the intake form, and our email)
• WhatsApp (messages and session summaries)
• Razorpay (payments)
• Web3Forms (delivers messages from the message box to our email)

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or tracking. The booking calendar on the Appointments page is provided by Google and may set Google’s own cookies when it loads.

We keep your information with no fixed end date, so that we can pick up where we left off if you come back. You can ask us to delete it at any time, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@thephilosophycoach.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
